In an effort to hold all group members accountable for the work they do when working with others, this simple rubric allows for students to asses their peers on their contributions to the group. It is separated into four components which include participation, behavior, on task behaviors, and work. Students will rank each peer on a level 1, 2, or 3. This grade can be used as you please but will offer valuable insight into how each team member carried himself/herself in the groupwork. The rubric is color coded, and user friendly. Attached you will find six different templates that you can use for students to create their own “I can…” statements. These self-identified objectives can serve as a goal for the day or for a lesson. This is great for students that need to work towards something specific, for students with special needs, or students that are feeing defeated. This form serves as excellent documentation for achievement of goals as well as facilitates the intrinsic ownership over growth. The versions of each are identified on the bottom right corner. The first three present the goals in three different manners. The second three have the same template but push students to elaborate on their self-reflection. This variety allows you to easily differentiate to each student to match their needs.

This tracking form reflects the traditional color system behavior system. It mimics the stoplight system of Red, Yellow, and Green do signify obvious behavior representations. Students will color in their color each day and then check the box that reflects the reason for their behavior. Students will either check they had a great day or can check one of the pre-listed options of components such as needs to work on staying focused, showing respect, etc. There is a signature line at the bottom of each day (already set up for the week) in which parents can be accountable for daily behaviors. This serves as excellent documentation and tracking for interventions and response to misbehaviors as well as rewards for positive behaviors (PBIS).
